just btw. i had some problems caused by the SDL library - raute built some wop and ioq3.exe for me a while ago - with and without SDL, different compilers etc. but this problem was especially with ATI cards - maybe theres also something wrong with nvidia cards...

Steer clear of incorrect verb forms that have snuck into the language. Never ever say never. I must have told you a million times to resist hyperbole. Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do. Place pronouns as close as possible, especially in long sentences, as of ten or more words, to their antecedents. A writer must not shift your point of view. Don't use no double negatives. A preposition is a terrible word to end a sentence with. And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.

If it works for you, that doesn't mean it works for others. I have Nvidia too, works fine with Ubuntu and XP.

You're just linking to a german wiki-entry that doesn't include any instructions on how to actually solve the problem.
I think we should add something like "Possible solutions to get OpenGL working" which then includes "Update your system's drivers and software", "Check your WoP-config for strange settings" and other possible solutions.
