Just occurred to me--since we've seen demos of Quake 3 running on iPhone/iPod Touch, and since the iTunes App Store allows freeware without (I believe) paying the $99 that commercial developers must pay... how cool would it be to have World of Padman in mobile form?

Controls would be somewhere worse than mouse but better than gamepad, I suspect. So it might not be ideal to have it playable vs. computer users. Still, vs. bots and vs. other iPhone/iPod Touch users would be neat.

Anyway if you buy the entire team some iphones/pods then it might just happen.. we'll see after the gifts arrive.
