Hi, all! :)
It's very strangely, but me and my relatives (we live in Russia) can't open site http://www.worldofpadman.com.
I need use a proxy (in this case American) to open site and download new version of WOP 1.6.
Please, can authority geve me some comment about it?

I'm not aware of any filtering, but I'm not the webadmin either. Do you get any error message, does the request just timeout, can you resolve the domainname etc.?

Meanwhile you can directly download the WoP v1.6 patch at SourceForge.

The latter one for worldofpadman.com is fine. www. is just a subdomain with redirection.

We'll have to wait for smiley, since he is the admin of our website. You might also be blocked from our server provider or even a firewall before.

I assume your IP is the same as of your Ducktales server e.g. wop.no-ip.org / simple.selfip.com?

Yes, i'm admin of server Dicktales Insta-CTL, and i uses this domain names

Yes I have same problem with http://www.worldofpadman.NET :(
And one addition: my relative, that live in my city (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) has this problem (he uses Windows) and !!! my another relative in Minneapolis USA has this problems too (but he as me uses Ubuntu Linux). And as you understand, we all uses different DNS-servers.

hi all,

strange thing, from my Ubuntu partition im not able to accsess either worldofpadman.com - nor .net, too !
BUT if i use a online proxy like hidemyass.com, i can reach the site.

Same for me from my office. My office is just 1 km away from my apartment. At home I have access but not from my office computer. One week ago I had no issues and was able to access the homepage from both locations. Strange man.

since we cannot clearly reproduce the error, would you mind doing a traceroute from your pc to worldofpadman.com/net/org and post the results over here?

for windows: run the command line window like start -> run -> cmd, then type tracert worldofpadman.com (respectively .net and .org), on linux use traceroute worldofpadman.com instead which should return something like this:

As i see, there are very many people, who has this problem too, and this is one of causes, that prevents to swich this gamers to the new WOP 1.6... :(
Guys, is it possible to solve this problem?
