Hi,

I am actually a mac. The 1.5 version of WoP is working great. But whenever I do an update to 1.6 the game doesn't launch and I get the error :

Couldn't load default.cfg. See "/Users/saad/Library/Application Support/WorldOfPadman/wop/crashlog.txt" for details.

Any help ?

Could you post the contents of said file?
Hopefully it contains an error message, so we can do some debugging.

On a sidenote, v1.6 is a patch for v1.5. You need to patch an existing v1.5 installation.

So there is no crashlog.txt, even though the game says it created one (like in your first post)? That's weird indeed.

I'd usually suggest to launch the game in developer mode from a terminal, but I have no idea how to do that under Mac. The command should look something along the lines of

You could then read any errors in your terminal or from the created qconsole.log (in ~/Library/Application Support/WorldOfPadman/wop/qconsole.log).

Look up how to run Programs in developers Mode, then do so with your not working WoP 1.6 installation.
